Description

Cherry Garth is a warm and welcoming home sleeping up to eight people in four bedrooms.

This stylish home at the heart of Keswick is the perfect place for families or walking groups to come together for an unforgettable stay in the Lake District. The property offers light and airy accommodation with quality fittings and contemporary finishes throughout following recent refurbishment, from under floor heating on the ground floor, to the spacious triple aspect lounge/dining room with walk in bay and double patio doors.

The well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, electric hob and granite worktops , is sure to make food preparation and dining a pleasure. The spacious open plan living room/ dining space with Smart TV is the perfect place to gather together and catch up on the day's events.

There are two beautiful ground floor bedrooms, both with quality mattresses and beds dressed in luxury linen and towels, and each conveniently having modern ensuite shower rooms.

Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom which can be made up as super king-size on request (£15 charge for this service). Between the two bedrooms is the newly refurbished three piece bathroom for those who prefer a nice soak to relax and refresh tired muscles!

The useful utility room has washing facilities along with space to store coats, boots and walking gear.

The private enclosed garden with seating enjoys a south faced position catching the sun all day. A lovely place to relax with a drink or good book after a day on the fells!

Visitors will not need to worry about where to leave the car as there is a private paved parking area in front of the house.

Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities.

Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.

Cherry Garth Xmas 2024
Had an excellent stay at Cherry Garth. Great property with lots of indoor and outdoor space for 8 people and a dog. Location is quiet yet close to the town centre. Had the benefit of a private parking space albeit a little awkward to access. Would definitely recommend Cherry Garth to others and would look to stay again.

The space can be tricky to manoeuvre into and is maybe best suited to a small/medium car, although it is a major bonus to have it especially for loading and unloading the car! Comfortable Cottage, Great Location
This is our third stay at Cherry Garth because it serves our needs in terms of comfort location and it is also near to Keswick Cottages if we have any issues, which we rarely have. We hope to be returning again next year.

A lovely, spacious property in a central location .
The property is large and easily sleeps 6 adults and 2 children. It’s centrally located and it’s very easy to park on the drive and in the street; which is a bonus in Keswick. The garden area is fully enclosed and has a lovely patio table and chairs. It is well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place! Very close to everything in town, there was even a gym 3 mins walk from the house. Pet friendly! I travelled with my cat and they accommodated us well. We loved this place, very cosy and warm. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!
