Description

Head inside this warm and welcoming apartment and you're sure to feel right at home.

This two-bedroomed first floor apartment is ideally situated within the popular and highly sought after area, Elliott Park, in Keswick town centre.The location is peaceful yet makes an ideal base for exploring with walks from the doorstep, the vibrant shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants only minutes away, and Booth’s supermarket (which has an electric car charging point)plus E-Venture shop for easy bike hire a mere stones throw away.

The light and airy lounge is a great space to socialise or unwind at the end of a great day out. There are two comfortable settees, an easy chair, Smart TV, an electric fire, coffee table, sideboard, and dining area. The easy chair is nicely positioned next to the window and makes a lovely place to sit while you enjoy a morning coffee.

The kitchen is well planned and equipped with everything you will need to prepare a delicious dinner before dining together and recounting the days adventures! There is plenty of cupboard space, electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster and plenty of work space.

The main bedroom has a double bed, two built in wardrobes and bedside tables. The en-suite shower room makes the apartment an excellent choice for families and couples alike.

The pretty second bedroom has two single beds, bed side cabinet, built in wardrobe and large chest of drawers. Both bedrooms will be made up with fresh, high quality linen and towels.

The main family bathroom is across the hall from the twin bedroom and has a white bathroom suite with a shower over the bath. Here you can enjoy a nice soak and relax tired muscles after a day on the fells.

Guests will not need to worry about where to leave their car as there is a private allocated car parking space.

Complimentary WiFi

Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities.

Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.

Lovely flat close to town with own parking space
We have stayed in a large number of self catering properties in Keswick over the past 20+ years and Coledale is up there with the very best of them. The apartment is comfortable, very clean and, is filled with natural light (which was even more welcome as the weather was amazing for our week's stay in April 2025). Also, to our delight, we had a lovely view of Catbells from the lounge window. Keswick Cottages were very helpful and we were particularly impressed with the App you have developed for Coledale providing all key and helpful information. We would have no hesitation in returning and booking through Keswick Cottages in the future.

Beautiful apartment close to town
We have stayed in several self catering accommodation units in Keswick over the past years but this one has to be one of the best. VERY clean and tidy, everything worked as it should, the kitchen was well stocked, the decor was lovely, the bed was really comfortable (a 6'4" husband quite often complains about this but not at Coledale) and really close to all amenities in Keswick. I just wish we'd found the property sooner than we did. Also, it was really lovely working with a local agent, others we've used in the past in Keswick have been swallowed up by larger companies and you just don't get the personal service. Keswick Cottages were amazing with lots of reminders about what to take, what to do and the important details like directions and access codes were readily available - thank you, you will be our go to agency when we next visit.

Good location - near to supermarket and all other amenities whilst still quiet.
Comfortably and well maintained. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Good quality furnishings, flooring and linens.
I liked the location of the accommodation and also allocated parking space. The hosts were very attentive to my requests regarding allergies and I was grateful they also aired the accommodation too.
