Fairbank is a pretty two bedroom cottage in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the vibrant centre of Keswick. This stunning home from home has a lovely welcoming feel from the very first glimpse which continues throughout the cottage with its friendly atmosphere and attention to detail. The facilities have been stylishly and comfortably modernised to an exceptional standard yet the cottage retains an abundance of charm and character.

Description

On entering the cottage you will be greeted by the modern kitchen diner which is well stocked and equipped for your holiday. The newly fitted facilities include oven, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. The solid wood table seating four is ideally placed for socialising with friends and family while preparing meals and cooking.

The living room with Smart TV, CD player, sofa and two easy chairs makes a warm cosy space to curl up and relax on an evening.

Upstairs the two bedrooms are light and bright with views over Fitz park, which is conveniently only a stones throw from the cottage. Both bedrooms are beautifully presented with quality bed linen and towels to ensure a restful stay.

The fabulous Victorian style bathroom has a modern 3 piece suite with shower over the bath.

There is an enclosed front and rear patio perfect for sitting outside and enjoying some sunshine and a good book. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided.

Visitors to Fairbank have the convenience of a complimentary parking permit for use in the nearby long stay car park.

Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities.

Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.

A Very Comfortable Cottage
We have stayed at other cottages with Keswick Cottages, so we knew that the Fairbank would be just as comfortable as the previous cottages , we have stayed at. The Fairbank is a lovely cottage, decorated very tastefully inside. You walk through the front door straight into the kitchen area. Which is excellent and there is an area to leave muddy boots before entering the rest of the cottage. The beds are very comfy for a good nights sleep, and a recliner chair was excellent for relaxing in after a long day on the fells. The cottage looks out on a park area which is ideal for walking our dog morning and evening, and the Skiddaw range. Also the position is excellent for accessing the centre of Keswick and the Amenities.

Weekend get away
Fantastic property that was ideal for our needs. Very quiet location but only 2 mins from the town centre and long stay car park. Staff at Keswick cottages were friendly and easy to deal with. Definitely use them again and stay at this property.

A lovely cottage - highly recommend
The cottage itself is very welcoming - every clean and comfortable with all amenities that help to make the stay in Keswick wonderful. Location is perfect just opposite the bridge to Fitz Park and a gentle 2 minute stroll into the centre of Keswick. Views from the cottage are lovely - especially with the snow fall on this visit. Highly recommend.

An absolutely beautiful cottage . Fairbank is well equipped for any getaway to keswick it's location to the town centre is excellent and is straight over a little bridge to Fitz park ideal for the early morning dog walk . We have recently cone back and it's been decorated for Christmas and loved how the simplicity of it made it feel so beautiful. We booked through keswick cottages and also highly recommend the communication was outstanding. . It's made one of the hardest times of the year one of the most memorable and can't thank the owner of fairbank and keswick cottages enough for a beautiful stay . We will be back next year

Lovely cottage with all amenities, very clean and comfortable and excellent location being very central for Keswick and opposite the bridge for very easy access to Fitz Park, which is great if you have dogs :)
