Easter break at Greta Bank
Great week in Keswick, lovely apartment, I would definitely stay here again! Location is perfect for Booths, eating in the town centre and accessing the lake. The apartment was well equipped, comfy beds and very clean throughout. We have stayed on this complex before and the apartment layout was by far the best. The large hallway made it feel spacious, and the patio area was great for fresh air and drying wetsuits.

Thank you for your amazing review of Greta Bank, it sounds like you had a fantastic stay! Greta Bank is the ideal spot for easy access to everything Keswick has to offer, and with a handy parking space it is easy to visit the nearby towns and attractions! We hope to welcome you back in the future! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Clean and warm, with good wide parking space.
We have stayed in Elliott Park for our visits to the Lake district over the past 18 or so years. This property gave us room to spread out, though the kitchen is defiantly a one person zone! We were unable to walk as far as planned, but made a day of a visit to Vindalanda Roman museum and fort, next day explored the "Village by the Sea" Port Carlisle, and another day was spent on the coast at Silloth - an old fashioned seaside - free unlimited street parking on the "front", wide grass swards and plenty of benches along the waterfront for an enjoyable walk and picnic. The reason for the 3 on comfort is that the two sofas are rather worn and the seats very saggy and uncomfortable. The outside seating looks attractive but North facing never gets little sun!!

Thank you so much for your review of Greta Bank, and for your suggestions for days out away from Keswick! It sounds like you made the most of your stay! Elliott Park is a fantastic location for access into Keswick, and with the addition of a car parking space is ideal for the busier months! Greta Bank does also benefit from its own private outdoor space. Thank you also for your feedback! We hope to welcome you back on your next visit! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Delightful apartment!
We have stayed at Greta Bank before and the fact that we've made a return visit tells its own own story. This apartment is in a quiet little haven, two minutes walk from a supermarket, bus stop and the centre of Keswick. You're close to shops, restaurants and a short walk from Derwentwater with its launches, motor and rowing boats if you enjoy being on the water, or the fells on your doorstep for a day's hiking. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay and is extremely comfortable, especially the beds!

Thank you for your amazing 5* review of Greta Bank, we are so happy to hear you enjoyed yet another stay! The property is situated on the Elliott Park estate which is very peaceful despite its proximity to the town centre! Its easy to park up and leave the car for the entirety of your stay. We hope you made the most of your stay and we hope to welcome you back soon! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Groceries nearby and close to the old town center. 2 bathrooms, eletric fireplace to warm living room and 2 sets of sofas for everyone to enjoy the evenings comfortably.
Well decorated/maintained apartment with its own spacious parking space and within walking distance to the bus station and Booths supermaket. Very quiet bearing in mind how close it was to everything. Really comfortable bed/lounge area, kitchen a little small but with all facilities including welcome pack of tea/milk/biscuits and washing pack. Outside seating area quite small and had wooden table/chairs which were hard to keep dry so suggest changing to plastic.Great for watching the birds feeding on the wall so take some bird seed. We even had a male and two female partridges visit us within 3ft of where we were sitting inside the lounge. We would definately stay here again.
Parking, central location and lovely cottage.
