The lounge has been renovated to an exceptional standard, and includes a quality suite with two seater sofa and two chairs, an electric feature fire place, TV, DVD, and CD player, and a dining table with four chairs.
The stunning new kitchen is sure to make cooking a pleasure and comes fully fitted with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, a microwave, a washing machine, tumble dryer and a selection of cookbooks. There is plenty of worktop and cupboard space.
Directly off the kitchen is a large outside patio deck with seating, overlooking the fabulous gardens and the breathtaking views beyond.
The master bedroom with fitted cupboards, has a king sized bed and en-suite shower room with a WC, basin and heated towel rail and the second bedroom also has a double bed together with fitted cupboards. The bedrooms are dressed with luxury linen and towels.
The main bathroom has a large bath with shower, a WC, basin and heated towel rail.
The property benefits from extensive shared landscaped gardens including a pond. There are designated storage racks for bicycles at the back of the property together with a purpose built covered communal Barbeque area. Ample parking off road at the front of the main building is also available.
The shores of Lake Bassenthwaite can also be accessed via a signposted short walk from the rear of the property. Free unlimited Wi-Fi throughout.
Thornthwaite is a peaceful village on the edge of Whinlatter forest, which offers beautiful walks, cycle tracks and an array of outdoor activities for all the family. For the walkers there are beautiful hikes that can be reached from your doorstep, including Powter How wood which leads you to Bassenthwaite lake. Thornthwaite Galleries is worth a visit to peruse the work of over 140 local artists, with a lovely tearoom serving scones, cakes and soups.
Keswick is a 5-minute drive from Thornthwaite, or there is the X4/X5 bus that runs through Keswick, Cockermouth and Workington and can be accessed from Thornthwaite. Keswick has an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants and is central to many popular walking routes such as the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway track and Catbells.
