Autumn in Keswick
A comfortable home from home. Beautiful views. Shame about traffic noise from by-pass. Lovely walks for dogs. Without a car it's a bit far out of town and no local shops. Patio could be a hazard and the step down to the out house is steep for those with mobility issues. But overall it was a lovely place to stay.

Thank you for your review of Roslin, we are delighted that you (and the four legged friends!) had a good stay. We hope that you were still able to explore the local area and enjoy the walks from Portinscale. We hope to host you again in the future! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages.

Roslin review
Hi the glass doors to the property were blown and gave the property a look of neglect. The bedroom window is the same which is a shame as there are fantastic views. There were tea stains on the carpet which seemed to have just been left. There was no salt and pepper or any condiments at all. The one toilet roll seemed particularly mean bearing in mind the rent charged. The garden was also neglected with weeds and overgrown shrubs. It is a shame as this house is in a fantastic location with lovely views

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Roslin! We hope that you had a fantastic time exploring the beautiful Lakes. We're really sorry to learn there were some areas of disappointment at the property. We will of course check the points mentioned during the next changeover, and inform the property owner, as it is really important to us that properties are maintained to a high standard for guests. We provide some welcome provisions including a kitchen pack, refreshment pack and toilet roll with the intention to make things easier for guests on arrival. We do have a number of hamper options available if guests would like any additional starter items. We are a small local company so please never hesitate to contact us during your stay if there is anything you need. We hope to welcome you for another visit very soon! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Nice place tucked away in nature yet close to the main road.
Incredible locations and views!
A second visit to Roslin. Its location was ideal for us. Set in Portinscale in a quiet cul de sac with amazing views towards Skiddaw. Parking directly outside. A small front garden and a large rear garden. A side porch for storing boots or bikes which also houses a washing machine. The house was spotlessly clean and freshly painted. The house has central heating and a large kitchen diner fully equipped. The lounge is comfortable. The master bedroom is massive and the second bedroom had 2 single beds. Bathroom with bath and separate shower. Walks from the house into Keswick takes 20 minutes or 5 minutes in the car. If your looking for clean comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location with amazing views then Roslin is the place to go.
