Traditional stone Lakeland cottage on the outside, contemporary spacious home on the inside! From the first step inside the front door, this welcoming retreat for eight is sure to make a great first impression, and have you feeling right at home. You'll find storage and hooks in the hallway ready and waiting for your coats and boots.

On your left is the spacious living room; light, bright and inviting, this really is a wonderful space to gather with friends and family to recount the days adventures, and plan the next! Curl up and make yourself comfortable on the two three-seater sofas or the tartan easy chair with footstool, ideally positioned around the warming cosy log burner. There's a wall-mounted Smart TV to enjoy your favourite programmes and a selection of games/books for entertainment.

The modern kitchen-diner, with island and bar stools, is well-equipped and sure to make meal preparation and cooking a pleasure.

The four comfortable bedrooms are nicely furnished, with plenty of storage, and quality mattresses for a good nights sleep. There are two double bedrooms with en-suite facilities and TVs and two twin rooms, one of which boasts a TV, and these are serviced by a sleek family bathroom. Each bedroom will be dressed in luxury crisp white bed linen and towels ready for your arrival.

Outside there is a patio area with seating and a parking space for one car, a real bonus so close to the centre of Keswick, and there's plenty of on-street parking nearby for guests travelling in more than one car.

Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities.

Keswick itself offers lots of amenities, from shops to cafés, pubs to theatres, you will be spoilt for choice.

Great location and spacious property.
This is a great property in a very good location but there are a couple of negatives; yard needed to be jet washed, beds not all that comfortable, toilet flush in two bathrooms very poor but still enjoyed our stay.

The house was fine for our requirements. I was a little disappointed that when we reported a fire alarm needed a new battery it was not changed. We ended up removing the battery as it was constantly bleeping. The shower in our bedroom on the top floor was not draining away quickly enough. Other than those two minor issues the house was very good.

Great family home.
What a house! lots and lots of space for all the family to come together. The house is in a great location, you can walk into town in 5 mins. There is a parking space for one vehicle which was snug but the vehicle in question was very large so the average car would be fine. The house was very well equipped, very clean and comfy. If I’m being picky a few door handles need attention and the shower in the main bathroom doesn't sit in the cradle very well. As a family we had an amazing time, a few completed the Keswick half marathon and we created some amazing and life changing memories. The office staff were so helpful in making are stay perfect.

4 Bedrooms, two with en-suite works perfectly for a friends trip. Great kitchen dining area for socialising. Very close to town, 5-10 min walk max. The park over the road is perfect for early morning dog walks. Perfect in so many ways for us. Stayed twice and will be back.

Lovely house in a great area as quiet but an easy walk into town. Very well equipped kitchen and very clean and tidy. Although the on site car parking space is very tight there is lots of on street parking and we never had any difficulty in finding space to park. Will definitely be booking it again.

Lovely place for a large group. Very comfortable beds. The twin bedded room is a bit tight for space between the beds. Ok for youngsters. Good bathroom/showers Very large kitchen and dining area. So spacious it can be echoey. We didn’t use the parking space so there’s room for children to play outside or to sit out in the sun. Overall, this a very nice place to stay and just a short walk to the park and to the centre of Keswick. Would definitely choose it again.
